Getting Started
We create custom clothing—made-to-measure pieces designed around your style, fit preferences, and occasion. This includes suiting, Indian ethnic outfits, and any garment that can be custom-made based on your vision.
We create custom suiting for both men and women. At this time, our ethnic wear is available for men only.
We operate from a private studio in Ottawa and also serve clients online with virtual appointments.
Not yet—FAVOURATE is currently focused on custom clothing. Ready-to-wear will be introduced in the future.
Yes. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we’ll guide you through fabrics, silhouettes, and styling based on your event and personal taste.
Appointments
No—placing an order is not mandatory for any appointment type. You’re welcome to book to explore options, get advice, and understand pricing/timelines before deciding.
Showroom Browse (15 min): Explore fabrics/details and ask questions (no measurements, no order placed).
Custom Order Session (45 min): Design + fabric selection + measurements (order can be placed if you choose).
Groom Session (60 min): Wedding-focused styling + measurements (order can be placed if you choose).
Wedding Party Styling (75 min): Coordinated looks for groups + measurement planning (order can be placed if you choose).
Fitting & Collection (30 min): Try-on, refinements if needed, and pickup.
No—Showroom Browse is for browsing only. To place an order, book a Custom Order Session (or Groom Session).
Measurements are taken during Custom Order Session, Groom Session, and Wedding Party Styling (as needed).
Yes. We offer virtual appointments, including guided measurements.
We guide you step-by-step during your appointment. For best accuracy, please have a measuring tape (and a helping hand, if possible).
Timelines
Most custom outfits are completed in 3–4 weeks, depending on design complexity and fabric availability.
If you’re in a hurry, we can try to accommodate a rush timeline depending on workload and fabric availability. Shipping charges will be extra for rush orders (and we’ll confirm options/costs before proceeding).
Alterations are typically completed in less than 1 week (depending on the alteration and workload).
As early as possible—especially during peak season. If you share your event date, we’ll advise the best booking window.
Pricing & Payments
Pricing depends on fabric, design complexity, and finishing details. You’ll receive a clear quote during your order appointment before anything is confirmed.
Yes. A 50% deposit is required to place your order and begin production. The remaining 50% is due at collection (or before shipping).
We accept cash, debit card, credit card, e-transfer, and online payments.
Design, Fabrics & Customization
We can use reference photos for direction. We may recommend adjustments based on fit, fabric behavior, and what will look best on you—nothing is finalized without your approval.
Yes—swatches can be viewed in-studio and may be arranged for remote clients depending on availability.
Yes. We’ll help you choose colors, fabrics, and finishing details that suit your event and overall look.
Yes—we carry all types of accessories to pair with your custom outfit, and we’ll help you choose pieces that match your overall styling.
Fit, Fittings & Alterations
We take detailed measurements and confirm your preferred fit (slim/classic/relaxed). For online clients, we guide measurements live to keep it accurate.
This depends on the garment and timeline. We’ll confirm what’s included when your order is placed.
Yes—if needed, one alteration is included to achieve a perfect fit.
Let us know as early as possible. We’ll advise the best option based on the production stage and your timeline.
Small adjustments may be possible early on. Once fabric is cut or production begins, changes may be limited and could involve additional cost.
Weddings & Groups
Yes—Wedding Party Styling is designed to coordinate color and overall styling while ensuring each person’s fit is comfortable.
Yes. We can coordinate virtually, guide measurements remotely, and plan shipping around deadlines.
Shipping, Pickup & Policies
No—there are no shipping charges for orders placed in-studio. You can pick up your order from the studio.
Yes—online orders within Canada typically have a small shipping fee. The exact amount can be discussed and confirmed when placing your order, based on your location and delivery timeline.
Yes—we ship internationally. Shipping rates and delivery timelines depend on your location and will be confirmed before dispatch.
Because each piece is custom-made, cancellations are limited. In some cases, if production has not started yet, an order may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing it. Please contact us as soon as possible—approval depends on the production stage and any materials already committed.
